SEGES is the first Green evaluation system in Japan by former Fund for Greening in Cities. Our roll was to support development of this system. As social understanding of environmental consideration has been increasing, private enterprises play a key role in solving these problems through their business operations and corporate social responsibility. Establishment of the evaluation and approval system for enterprise activities toward greening cities would assist these efforts.
Closely interacting and working with our client who establish and manage ten Agricultural parks in Japan, we give them practical advices regarding how to improve their management to provide better service for park visitors and local users of the park.
Information about Tokyo Metropolitan Parks, as well as historical materials related to Tokyo greening owned by “Tokyo Green Archives” are exhibited in Hibiya Park “Midori I Plaza”.
Through practical consulting and technical assistance at each step from design & planning to management, we have been continuously supporting a number of groups to assist and promote their activities for greening.
We have been delivering lectures for human resource development and providing courses for Park Administrator. These lectures cover broad range of issues relating greening such as roles, functions and legal basis of urban parks, park and planting management, and introduction of advanced precedents.
